All are aware about Chennai atleast in a small way. While I was in the age of 20 and landed up in Chennai I found that there are lot of water storage areas and also the rains which is bringing cheers after a Hot Summer was very interesting. To day we can see the rise in Temperature and rain is coming down and all these are due to lesser Green Cover and also due to Consumerism entire Chennai is becoming dumpyard with Plastics and other industrial wastes . Ground Water which was drinkable in many areas were now polluted and our Tax Payers money is used to provide drinking water to the Masses.
How to make these reversible and sustained Public Efforts and Cooperation will only bring all these to the 1970's and if not to the current state of situation which will take us to bleak future not only for us but for our younger generation which is also growing.
Sustained efforts and Mass Movements should be created to make this happen and Government Agencies should also cooperate on this movement as the TN  has the vision to implement this,
Let us start thinking and then take forward ......
